Baltimore Based recording project BETWEEN DAZE recently released their energetic introspective record, “I Might” and it’s sure to make you feel like taking a reflective stroll on a warm sunny day.
The track is about the delicate nature of a relationships that may be considered unhealthy. The whirring guitar combined with the groovy rhythm along with the troubling words give a feeling of unrest and the emotional turmoil experienced in the relationship. The sonic tension perfectly captures the feeling of inner conflict and instantly draws you in as the song progresses.
Between Daze features Johnny Burkhead on lead vocals and rhythm guitar, Scott Rodenberg on guitar and backing vocals, Kenn on guitar and backing vocals, Mike Coyne on bass, and Kevin Walsh on the drums.
It seemed like fate brought them together, when a chance connection through a cousins friend, and a brother with a guitar sparked their meeting. Taking inspiration from iconic bands such as The Rolling Stones, U2, and Soundgarden, Between Daze infuses their music with a distinctive edge, creating a sound all their own.

“I Might” is an unpredictable, flowing track where the vocals drift effortlessly over whining guitars and a rumbling rhythm section. It forms effortlessly as Between Daze prefers a more organic process when creating their music. Drawing from the flow of their emotions and letting the music form itself, on its own terms.
